World competition athletic endurance improves with NADH:
You don't have to be in athletic competition to enjoy nadh benefitsThe Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine & Athletic Trauma (NISMAT) is the sports medicine clinic at Lenox Hill hospital in NY. One of their objectives is to study methods that improve the athletic endurance for the US Olympic Team.

NISMAT believed that taking NADH was both safe and natural. The teams could use NADH to improve the oxygen capacity of the body. More oxygen to burn, more energy to produce. Just enough energy, in the final milli-seconds of world athletic competition will give an edge over a competing team.

The athletes taking the oral form of NADH, were surprised by the European study results. I use the words "world competition level athletes," because not all of these athletes make it to the Olympics.

Proven enhanced athletic endurance
A 1995 ( non U.S. based ) study conducted with world competition level cyclists and long distance runners found a wide range of performance improvements when taking an oral form of NADH called Co-E1. The study reported:

  • improved oxygen capacity
  • decreased reaction time
  • greater mental acuity and alertness.

The US will not be out done
One of the world's most renowned and respected centers for sports medicine took up the challenge. In 1996, the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma (NISMAT) at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City started studying the effects of NADH on U.S. athletes. Some of these athletes participate in the Olympics. We except their clinical study results by the end of 1997. Once the results are made available, we'll report the NISMAT finding here at this web site.

Dr. Gilbert Gleim, Director of Research at NISMAT started a double blind, placebo study on the positive effects of NADH. The study has one group of world competition long distance runners and tri-athletes, and a second group of recreational runners. The objective is to learn more about the beneficial effects of NADH / Co-E1 in young healthy individuals performing regular physical exercise.

Dr. Gilbert Gleim states that NISMAT has been approached by many nutritional supplement companies claiming they have energy enhancing products. NISMAT declined almost every request. The exception was NADH. Early case studies of NADH / Co-E1® showed that NADH couldn't be more natural. Dr. Gleim and NISMAT felt that the prior research warranted their involvement in conducting their own double-blind study.

We except their clinical study results by the end of 1997. Once the results are made available, we'll report the NISMAT finding here at this web site.
